What is Bayswater Cottage Like?
Bayswater Cottage is a purpose build, brand new cottage in close proximity to Devonport, Takapuna and downtown Auckland. It accommodates a maximum of 2 people (couple or single).
The cottage is similar to a self contained studio with kitchenette and en-suite (bathroom), but a freestanding building in a tasteful garden setting.
It gets complimented by a big deck for your own personal outdoor use.
Living area:
- Queens size bed with innerspring mattress
- Bed side cabinet with reading lamp
- Table and two chairs
- 32″ LCD flat screen + DVD
Kitchen:
- Kitchen bench with fridge, 2 hotplates, toaster and jug
- Kitchen utilities (cutlery, plates, etc.)
Bathroom:
- En-suite with shower, vanity and toilet
Outdoor area:
- Big deck
- BBQ
Linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towel).

Our cottage is more personal than a hotel or motel and our aim is to make you feel like at home.
We put a lot of passion and pride into building Bayswater Cottage. Therefore please understand that we only accommodate mature adults.
Unfortunately the cottage is not suited for children and pets.
Who are we?
We (Iska and Boris) are originally from Germany and have been living and working in Auckland for over 9 years.
We have been accommodating guests from all around the world since 2007 and therefore are experienced in assisting you with all sorts of questions.
Just ask us! We are always there for a friendly chat and are more than happy to give you advice on where to go and what to see in the surrounding areas.
We both love travelling and are very interested in other cultures.
